MLS on TV??

Anyone know when and what channel the MLS is being shown this year?? Cheers in advance

It wouldn't surprise me if it was shown on Five to be honest, they hold the rights to lots of American TV (CSI, Law & Order), as well as show all the big live American sports fixtures shown in the US (Monday Night Football, Basketball, Baseball, Ice Hockey). Last year if I recall, they were also showing the LA Galaxy games live. It wouldn't surprise me if it was a foothold in the door for MLS to move over to Five.
I like their coverage of the American Sports to be honest, surprisingly enough, despite being a Commercial station, they don't show adverts during their coverage of American Sports, they have debates, show highlights, and also talk to people involved in the sport, very much Match of the Day like, which is great because I cannot really be doing with adverts when the sport is on, it disrupts my viewing pleasure.
I will have to look into it, I am pretty sure that Five works alongside Sky, (There's usually a lot of adverts for Sky programmes on Five), so if it isn't one, it is very likely to be the other that will be showing MLS games Win

I wouldn't bank on it though to be honest, I haven't seen it posted anywhere, but if its not on Five, it will be on Five if anywhere, I don't think there's enough incentive for ITV or C4 to buy the rights, and the BBC rarely show sport outside of Grandstand as it is. I just think that with the live LA Galaxy games and current schedules it seems like the most logical choice as that is when they usually show the NFL, but now the MLB season has started again I could have got it terribly wrong Confused

I just know they won't show it on a Saturday, as it's been fixed for a couple of years now, CSI:NY, Law & Order:CI, Law & Order:SVU, Some true crime programme, then that money spinning Quiz Call, don't think they would change that line up as it seems to attract a lot of interest from Joe Public

You can watch it online at mls.net, if you subscribe for a season ticket it works out to be pretty cheap. Chan 5 showed weekend games late on weekday nights, no good for me but at least its something !
