Howdy do! See you all in a month or so

So to speak..

Exams are fast approaching, and I must shift back my focus to horse racing..umm..I meant revision, honestly!

Have had pretty good months for the past two months (was in loss, but learnt a lot here). I think the pain and ups and downs of sitting behind a monitor screen and egging on a horse are too much to take during revision.

So I shall take a sabbatical for a month or so. Might post off and on, and read posts/PMs to unwind after a long day's revision, but shall not be analysing/tipping anything (which will probably save some people their hard-earned Wink

). Dunno why I am even posting this, I guess once I post this, it will help me distance myself a bit better..as I really don't spend a waking moment without coming here.

manafana..its tricky dude. I just feel guilty when I do something like a simple analysis. After finishing it, I feel like I have wasted a good hour or so. But yea, it can be a good break!

Princecap where are you at and what are you studying? I am in my final year at MMU, got an exam in 2 hours, and I have a lot of percentages, figures and years floating around my head, as well as Joe Perry @ 7/1 Laughing

Good luck anyways, with all these systems, and returns, ROI, Strike Rates etc, I knew I should have gone to Salford and taken Gambling Studies as well as Economics, would have breezed through that Win

Heh..I am in University of Bristol doing Electronics and Communications Engineering, and this year is really hard (although I am sure that is the case with everyone tbh..nothing worth having is easy).

Good luck with your exam inatimate..I would be scared as hell if I had one in 2 hours. *faints*. Forget about Joe Perry Cheeky

But I know it can be quite distracting sometimes. While in lectures, I tend to think about what sort of filters would work well in horse racing...just missing the point of lectures.

I also wish I had done Gambling studies, would have been fun. I did do some predictive algorithm stuff at uni though, which I guess is pretty close to form analysis and stuff. Although that was in wireless communication. World apart from gambling.

Phew...finished my exams last Friday, been 'unwinding' since. Feels so so good now! I think I should scrape a decent enough grade too, so not too bad Smile
