The last ten runnings of this race have fallen to either Michael Hourigan or Willie Mullins and they are very strongly represented again with four of the eight runners.
Snowy Morning has possibilities but I have reservations about his jumping and would want to see him perform well in top class before parting with any cash.
So in those circumstances it may pay to side with Mister Top Notch. He put up a really impressive performance last time out over course and distance when shouldering a massive 11st 10lb to victory in an ultra competitive handicap. Winning well off top weight doesnt seem to happen that often in Ireland and he struck me as a horse to follow that day. He can take this big step up in class in his stride.
