Ernie Els didn’t play very well at all last week in the PGA but I’m prepared to forgive him that blip in light of the generous price being offered for his return to US Golf. VC Bet offer a tempting 28/1 about the Memorial Champion of 2004 and reports of excellent work with coach Butch Harmon may not tempt those who lost their money at Wentworth but at ten points bigger than infrequent winner Stewart Cink it could pay to take a chance that Ernie can re-find the form that saw him win the Honda Classic back in February.
