Man Utd Ban Their Players From Twitter And Paddy Power Bet On Which Club Will Be Next
Wednesday 20 January 2010 at 12:16
PremiershipMan Utd have banned their players from using Twitter and Paddy Power are now betting on which Premiership club will be the next to totally ban its players from Twitter.

The current favourites with Paddy Power are Tottenham Hotspur who can be backed at 4/1 with Paddy Power. Tottenham had a well publicised case with Darren Bent last season when the striker complained about not getting a move through Twitter so it is no surprise that they are favourites with that experience under their belts. Next best are Liverpool who are 6/1 with Paddy Power. Liverpool are currently undergoing a difficult period so it is no surprise that they might not want players venting their frustrations through Twitter.

Both Hull and Stoke have problems at the other end of the table and they both have quite authoritative managers so they both make sense as joint third favourites at 8/1 with Paddy Power. Arsenal and Chelsea may not have too many worries about Twitter, perhaps it is not as widely used by foreign players as Arsenal are rated the least likely club at 33/1 with Paddy Power whilst Chelsea are 20/1 with Paddy Power. For more clubs, and for more interesting Novelty Bets like this, visit the Paddy Power website.
