Joe McElderry Misses Out On Christmas Number One And Bookies Think He Will Have Just One Number One In 2010
Monday 21 December 2009 at 12:24
Joe McElderry missed out on Christmas Number One at the weekend but that shouldn’t harm his future success according to betting experts Paddy Power. Paddy Power are betting on what records Joe might break, how many number ones he will have next year and who, out of the three X Factor finalists, will have the most successful debut album.
One Or Even Zero Number Ones Likely To Be In Store For Joe
The Christmas Number One was expected to be Joe’s first Number One but Rage Against The Machine pipped him to that so he now starts 2010 with a blank record. Paddy Power think it is most likely he will have just the one Number One single in 2010, that is 4/6 with Paddy Power whilst no Number Ones is just 6/5 with Paddy Power. It looks as though it will be between a maximum of one as two is 6/1 with Paddy Power and three is 12/1 with Paddy Power.
Joe McElderry Debut Album Expected To Fare Better Than Debut Single
2010 should be a good year for Joe McElderry with Paddy Power offering just 9/4 he has the biggest selling album of 2010. You can get 12/1 with Paddy Power that he has the fastest selling debut album of all time in the UK and Ireland. It is certainly thought that winning the X Factor will give Joe McElderry the edge over his fellow finalists Olly Murs and Stacey Soloman. Joe is 1/3 with Paddy Power to sell more debut albums than the Essex pair, Olly is 2/1 and Stacey is 10/1 with Paddy Power.
