Craig Levein Next Scotland Manager Betting Odds As Scottish FA Make Approach For Dundee Utd Manager
Thursday 17 December 2009 at 10:47
Craig Levein Next Scotland Manager Betting Odds have been shortened and some bookies have even stopped taking bets after the Scottish FA approached Dundee United about appointing Craig Levein as the new Scotland Manager.
Craig Levein Odds Look Pretty Big Considering Approach Has Been Made
Paddy Power are the only bookie still taking bets on the Next Scotland Manager and they now make Levein the 5/4 favourite to land the job. Those odds look pretty generous considering the approach has already been made so we know Levein is the first choice. If you have a bet then you just have to hope that Levein doesn’t turn the job down. If he did turn it down it remains Walter Smith or John Collins, both fellow SPL managers, who are likely to step in and become number one choice. Walter Smith is 6/1 with Paddy Power whilst John Collins is an 8/1 chance with Paddy Power.
Dan Petrescu Is Only Realistic Foreign Choice
The fourth favourite is the first foreigner in the betting, former Chelsea player Dan Petrescu. He is currently doing a great job at Unirea Urziceni and has become as coveted as Slaven Bilic was a year or two ago, Petrescu is 14/1 with Paddy Power. Gary McAllister is still worth considering at 16/1 with Paddy Power whilst Jim Jefferies is 18/1 with Paddy Power. To find out the odds on George Graham or Ally McCoist and to see the full Next Scotland Manager Betting Odds visit the Paddy Power website.
