Next Ipswich Manager Likely To Be Glenn Hoddle Or Roy Keane
Wednesday 22 April 2009 at 14:17
Glenn Hoddle is the early favourite in the Next Ipswich Manager Betting after Jim Magilton was sacked this morning. The former England and Chelsea manager has already been backed into odds on and it looks as though things could move very swiftly.
Glenn Hoddle Early Favourite To Step In At Ipswich
Glenn Hoddle has been backed into 4/5 already to land the job with bookies VC Bet who have been quickest to react to Magilton’s dismissal. It looks as though the former England boss is already been lined up by Ipswich’s officials but there could be another man who lands the job.
Roy Keane Could Challenge For Favouritism
Roy Keane is possibly the biggest gamble so far, he has been backed all the way into 9/4 with VC Bet having originally been a double figure price. The ex Sunderland boss could probably land a Premiership job but it may suit his style to work his magic with a smaller club. He has already got Sunderland out of the Championship.
Neil Warnock Unlikely But Ince Could Be A Good Bet
Neil Warnock is also a market mover, he is 8/1 from 10/1 with VC Bet but he is unlikely to leave Crystal Palace. A better bet could be Paul Ince who, having failed at Blackburn, is sure to have to rebuild his reputation in the Championship. He could be the best bet from the 10/1 shots with VC Bet which also include Aidy Boothroyd and Alan Curbishley.
More Interesting Names
There are plenty of other interesting names in the betting including David O’Leary, George Burley, Gus Poyet, Tony Adams and Sven Goran Eriksson. To find out the odds on any of those landing the job or to see who else is being linked, visit the VC Bet website and click on Football Specials.
