Next X Factor Judge Could Be Robbie Williams Or Sharon Osbourne As Sack Looms For Dannii
Tuesday 03 February 2009 at 11:14
X FactorReports at the weekend have again suggested that X Factor judge Dannii Minogue is set to lose her role on the show. This is backed up in the betting, she is now the 2/5 favourite with Paddy Power to be the next judge to go. It looks a two horse race in that market with Louis a 9/4 shot with Paddy Power.

Robbie Williams and Sharon Osbourne Are Favourites

So, who will replace Dannii on the panel£ Robbie Williams was the original favourite but former judge Sharon Osbourne has now joined him at the head of the betting. They can both be backed at 5/1 with Paddy Power and depending on which report you read they are both being lined up for the job! Originally it was thought the producers were after a younger male judge to balance up the judging panel. However it has also been reported that Sharon originally left because of Dannii and the sacking of Dannii is in order to open the door for a return for Osbourne.

Another Young Female On The Panel£

Another who has been well backed is Charlotte Church, she is now the 6/1 second favourite. Although Charlotte Church and Cheryl Cole are both very different it seems unlikely that they would go for another young woman. If you agree with that way of thinking then that would probably rule out Lily Allen at 10/1 with Paddy Power.

Paula Abdul Could Be A Good Wager

Paula Abdul is an interesting inclusion in the betting at 12/1 with Paddy Power. She works on American Idol with Simon Cowell and has also featured as a guest judge on X Factor. She provides the same sort of service that Sharon Osbourne does so if Sharon turns the opportunity to return down then it is likely they could turn to Paula Abdul.

Madonna And Kylie In The Running

Other interesting bets include Gary Barlow at 14/1 with Paddy Power, Will Young at 14/1 with Paddy Power and American Idol judge Randy Jackson who is 20/1 with Paddy Power. To find out the odds on Victoria Beckham, Madonna, Amy Winehouse or Kylie joining the show or to see who else is being linked with the judging panel on X Factor, visit the Paddy Power website and look under Novelty Bets.
