David Morrisey Still The Hot Favourite In Next Doctor Who Betting

 David Morrisey is the bookies favourite to replace David Tennant as the Next Dr Who. The odds have changed several times for many of the contenders but it seems those backing Morrisey have a strong reason for risking their hard earned cash on this betting market.
Morrisey Still Red Hot Favourite
Morrisey, the 6/4 favourite with Paddy Power to be the next Doctor, is starring in the Christmas special which is titled ‘The Next Doctor’. This is obviously a massive clue for those of us making educated guesses and it has not been lost on the betting public who have backed the star of Basic Instinct 2 to get the job on a full time basis.
Strong Possibility Of First Black Doctor
Chiwetel Ejiofor is the new second favourite to get the job and he has replaced Joseph Patterson as the most likely black actor to become the Doctor. Many might not recognise his name but he has starred alongside Denzel Washington is films such as American Gangster and Inside Man and he has been nominated for two Golden Globes.
Ejiofor is 6/1 with Paddy Power to be the next Doctor Who and the first black Doctor Who whilst Joseph Patterson, who has appeared in two episodes of Doctor Who before, is out to 12/1 with Paddy Power.
Cold Feet Star In The Running
