Mancini And Vialli Backed In Next QPR Manager Betting
Wednesday 29 October 2008 at 12:02
There have been some major moves in the Next QPR Manager betting market over the last couple of days as a decision seems to be drawing nearer. It is two of the Italian contenders who have been backed for the job and two British contenders have been on the drift.
Mancini Close To Accepting Role£
Roberto Mancini has always been the hot favourite for the job and there has been plenty of money for the ex Inter Milan boss over the past couple of days. Having originally been a 5/1 shot he is now just 6/4 with SkyBet and it looks as though the Italian regime in charge of QPR have been holding discussions with Mancini.
Vialli Backed For Return To England
Another Italian to have been backed for the job is ex Chelsea manager Gianluca Vialli who is now 5/1 with SkyBet from 10/1. It looks as though an Italian manager will be appointed and it is just a case of deciding which one.
Ferguson and Venables On The Slide
Darren Ferguson is still the second favourite for the job but he is out to 3/1 with SkyBet after committing himself to Peterborough whilst Terry Venables, another of the British names linked with the job is out to 12/1 with SkyBet from as short as 7/4. Another name who has drifted is Gus Poyet who is 20/1 with SkyBet from 10/1.
