Ryder Cup Venue Hit By Hurricane Ike

Ryder Cup Venue Valhalla, in Kentucky, was yesterday battered by Hurricane Ike just days ahead of the start of many people’s highlight of the golfing year.
Course Battered By Winds
The winds may have only been 60 mph by the time the hurricane reached Valhalla but it was still enough to fell a television tour at the course and uproot a number of trees. Officials are still expecting the tournament to go ahead without any problems.
