Lampard On The Bench For Man U Match

It looks doubtful that Jose Mourinho will risk worsening the England midfielder's form by playing him even though he has soldiered through the pain since sustaining the break last month.
He might take a word out of Ashley Cole's book, who rues his decision to delay an operation on his ankle for nearly a year so he could play through last season.
Mourinho left ten first-team players on the bench for Chelsea's friendly against Brondby on Tuesday in an uncharacteristic show of caution.
If he decides to hold back Arjen Robben, (who has knee troubles) and Andriy Shevchenko (with back pains) from the main group on Sunday, odds on the underdogs winning will drift from 7/4 with Bet365.
But if Chelsea do well despite their troubles, the match could bring strong support for their chances in the FA Cup.
