Leicester Will Struggle Against Plymouth
Wednesday 29 August 2007 at 16:33 Leicester's defense will be under strength against Plymouth on Saturday after Clive Clarke suffered a heart scare last night.
Following the untimely deaths of QPR's Ray Jones in a car accident last week and Sevilla's midfielder Antonio Puerta on Tuesday, team mates feared the worst when the Irishman, who is loan from Sunderland, collapsed during half time in the Carling Cup clash against Nottingham Forest.
The player is awaiting the results of tests, but will be out for a significant period after it transpired that his heart stopped twice and mouth-to-mouth didn't work, so paramedics were forced to use a defibrillator to resuscitate him.
Meanwhile, Plymouth will carry momentum from their convincing two nil win over Doncaster that sent them through to the third round of the Carling Cup.
They dominated Doncaster for long periods of the game, with a goal in each half from Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Luke Summerfield, so they look like a safe bet for Saturday.
