Fulham Look To Victory In SW6 Derby
Thursday 27 September 2007 at 11:53 Fulham travel the short distance to Stamford Bridge on Saturday and will be hoping to take advantage of Chelsea's internal disunity and inexperience of manager Avram Grant.
Fulham are currently best priced at 6/1 with Ladbrokes while their more successful neighbours Chelsea are priced at 2/5, with a draw at 11/4.
However, Fulham are still smarting from a controversial Carling Cup defeat to Bolton after a goal was disallowed for being off-side.
"I'm getting fed up with goals getting disallowed for no apparent reason. It's ridiculous. Referees and linesman are costing us week in week out," said an angry Laurie Sanchez.
"They aren't up to the job and something needs to be done."
Chelsea on the other hand steadied some nerves with a 4-0 defeat of struggling Championship team Hull.
After the match Avram Grant said: 'I didn't expect that in a few days we play like this but I like very much the goals we scored today.
"All were from combinations of passes between many players. Some of the movement and some of the passes were quick with good finishing after good movement.
"On this base we can continue. Our target is to score many goals. Of course we want to score as many as possible, but I cannot guarantee it."
Other odds available for the weekend's game include a 3-1 scoreline to Chelsea at 9/1, Fulham to win 2-0 at 28/1 and Didier Drogba to score first at 3/1, all with Ladbrokes.
