Ashton And Bellamy To Pair Up Against Arsenal
Friday 28 September 2007 at 12:16
Alan Curbishly will team up his two star strikers Dean Ashton and Craig Bellamy when West Ham take on Arsenal in the Premiership this Sunday.
Curbishly will be hoping that the pair will be firing it what will be a tough match against the league leaders.
Arsenal are current favourites to take three points from the match, priced at 4/5 with Ladbrokes, while West Ham are priced at 3/1 for the win and a draw is offered at odds of 11/5.
The Hammers have actually won the last three meetings between the teams, but with Arsenal's Cesc Fabrgas and Emmanuel Adebayor scoring with ease it will be a hard game to win for the East London team.
"They've made a fantastic start, and I watched them on Tuesday night when they made nine changes so we know they've got a fantastic squad," Curbishly said.
"It's a proper game, with a great atmosphere, and everyone is looking forward to it."
Adebayour has been on scintillating form and is currently the Premiership's top goal scorer, therefore odds of his [him?] scoring first priced at 5/1 could be tempting.
Meanwhile, Bellamy is priced at 7/1 to be the first to find the back of the net and Ashton 8/1.
A scoreline bet of 2-1 to Arsenal is available at 7/1, again with Ladbrokes.
