Osbourne Quits The X Factor
Monday 22 October 2007 at 16:27 Sharon Osbourne may have decided to quit this year's X Factor after just one live round.
According to the Sun, the 55-year-old has sensationally decided to abandon the programme after a bust up with fellow judge Dannii Minogue.
On Saturday's (October 20th) show Osbourne appeared to quit the show after two of her acts were in the final two following the public vote.
And since the odds of one of Sharon's acts wining the competition has lengthened to 8/1 with BoyleSports, with Alisha Bennett, who was forced to sing again, now priced at 33/1 with Blue Square.
Revealing the amazing backstage bust-up, an insider on the show reportedly told the newspaper: "All of Sharon's frustrations came out. Dannii tried to stay calm but there's not much you can do when Sharon's at full throttle.
"Dannii was crying so badly she had to have her make-up re-done three times. All of Sharon's frustrations came out."
The mole added: "She's been jealous of Danii getting all the attention and publicity ever since she was bought on the show."
Simon's acts Hope and Futureproof are early favourites to clinch the X Factor title being offered at 4/1 with both Sky Bet and Coral.
