Brown To Miss Miamis Wembley Clash
Wednesday 24 October 2007 at 10:42 Miami Dolphins receiver Ronnie Brown has been ruled out of the clash with New York Giants at Wembley this Sunday (October 28th).
Brown's injured knee means he will miss the London encounter as well as the remainder of the NFL season.
It is further bad news for the Dolphins, who will be without first choice quarterback Trent Green and are in a miserable run of form having lost all seven of regular season games so far.
As such they go into the clash as underdogs with VC Bet offering 3/1 for a Dolphins victory and Ladbrokes posting odds of 7/2 for the same outcome.
Hoping that they can turn their around their poor form on foreign soil, Miami defensive end Jason Taylor said: "We can't win in America, maybe we can win overseas."
And linebacker Zach Thomas added: ''We've got to try to fix this fast or it's going to get ugly. It already is ugly. But it could get even uglier.''
The Giants will be hoping to extend Miami's worst start to a season for 42 years and the odds certainly favour a comfortable victory with Bet Direct and Bet 365 both offering 4/1 on a 13 to 18 point winning margin for New York.
