Rhydian Hits Out At X Factor Judges
Monday 29 October 2007 at 10:30 Welsh X Factor hopeful Rhydian Roberts has hit out the judges of the hit television show, claiming that couldn't care less about their contestants.
The eccentric opera singer received the plaudits for his performance of The Phantom of the Opera on Saturday (October 27th) and has seen his odds to win the contest slashed from 3/1 with both Coral and Ladbrokes.
But the appreciation was not mutual as they 24-year-old launched a scathing attack on the shows adjudicators. He told the Wales on Sunday: "Let's be honest, you have to question how much do these judges give a s**t?
"I think Dannii does because it's a big gig for her, and she wants it next year. But the others have got money pouring out of their sweat."
And in an astonishing attack on Sharon Osborne, he continued: "Imagine working with Sharon. You just have to speak to the girls in her group. For Sharon, it seems all about her.
"She acts really odd, really strange on the shows. She's bizarre."
The Welshman will have to be at his best to defeat impressive favourite Niki Evans, who has had her odds slightly lengthened to 11/4 with BoyleSports and 5/2 with VC Bet.
