Britain Set For White Christmas
Friday 14 December 2007 at 08:49 Despite being two weeks away from Christmas, early reports suggest that a number of UK regions may be set for festive snowfall.
According to Netweather.tv, London has a 20 per cent chance of snow, with odds for the capital at 4/1 with Stan James, while Edinburgh has a 30 per cent chance of snow, with Ladbrokes offering the same odds.
And forecaster for Netweather.tv, Paul Michaelwaite, revealed that snow could be a possibility, although it was still too early to tell.
He told This Is London: "We have been expecting cold air to be close by to the UK during the Christmas period since November though, and that's not changed.
"Whether the cold will be over the UK and whether or not that will provide snowfall is of course the big question."
Meanwhile, Manchester, which has been given a 30 per cent chance of snow, is also priced at 4/1 with Stan James.
