Di Angelo Delighted With Strictly Come Dancing Final
Friday 21 December 2007 at 08:55  EastEnders star Matt Di Angelo has revealed his delight at securing a place in tomorrow's (December 21st) Strictly Come Dancing final.
Despite Alesha Dixon being the bookies favourite to claim the title at 4/11 with Ladbrokes, Matt, a 2/1 shot with Paddy Power, claims he is just happy to be there.
Di Angelo told the BBC: "It was like being on cloud nine, it was ecstasy. It couldn't have gone any better.
"I texted Flavia the next day to say 'Flavia, did we really do it?' We've won, even if we come second."
Meanwhile, Alesha's arch love rival, Javine Hylton, has backed her to do well in the contest final.
She told the Daily Mirror: "It might sound strange for me to say this but I genuinely want her to be happy and I really hope she wins."
Recently Sky Bet began offering odds of 66/1 that Alesha would win the competition and then go on to become FHM sexiest woman in the world 2008.
