Seattle Favourites For Washington Wild Card Match-up
Wednesday 02 January 2008 at 09:13  The Seattle Seahawks are the bookies favourites to beat the Washington Redskins to claim a place in the divisional play-offs, this Saturday (January 5th).
The Seahawks are rated at 1/2 with Ladbrokes, while their Redskin rivals are priced at 6/4 with Better.
Seattle and Washington met in the play-offs in 2005, when Washington were beaten 20-10 in controversial circumstances.
And Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss insists that his side could put the defeat from two years ago behind them and claim an important victory this time round, despite being underdogs.
He told the Washington Post: "That's got nothing to do with this year. This year is a whole different year. They're a different team and we're a different team. It's a whole different scenario and everything."
Meanwhile, the New England Patriots are the favourites to claim Superbowl XLII, priced at 4/7 with Paddy Power.
Both the Seahawks and the Redskins are outsiders for the title, with Seattle at 40/1 with Bet365 and Washington priced at 80/1 with ToteSport.
