Tennessee Missing Key Players For San Diego Clash
Friday 04 January 2008 at 09:04  Tennessee Titans may be without quarterback Vince Young, wide receiver Roydell Williams and tight end Bo Scaife for their play-off match with the San Diego Chargers on Sunday (January 6th).
And with their injury woes the Titans are unfancied, priced at 9/2 with Ladbrokes, while the Chargers are hot-favourites at 1/5 with Paddy Power.
The Titans players have admitted that they would miss the injured trio, with receiver Eric Moulds claiming the injuries could give the franchise a chance to blood some youngsters.
He told USA Today: "We're going to be a little thin, but it's an opportunity for a young player to come in, step up and make an impact."
And Titan Justin Gage revealed that the injury to Roydell Williams would be a particular blow.
He added: "He made big plays, and he's made blocks for the running backs. He's a physical guy, he's strong, he plays hard. That's something he brings to the game."
Meanwhile, the undefeated New England Patriots remain the bookmakers choice to win Superbowl XLII, rated at 8/13 with Stan James.
