Mike Tindall Ruled Out For England
Monday 04 February 2008 at 11:08 England rugby player Mike Tindall has been ruled out of the Six Nations with a bruised liver.
The centre was carried off during the second half of England's 26-19 home defeat against Wales on Saturday (February 2nd). He was admitted to Hammersmith Hospital and is still under observation.
Tindall is now set to miss England's match against Italy this coming Saturday (February 10th) and is unlikely to return for any part of the tournament, Rugby Union officials have said.
Betfair is currently offering 13/5 odds that one-time favourites England will only manage to come fourth in the competition.
Tindall is not the only player set to miss England's second Six nations game. David Strettle, Tom Rees and Lewis Moody will also be unavailable after they too sustained injuries while plating against Wales.
France remain the hot favourites to lift the Six Nations trophy on March 15th, rated at 4/6 with William Hill.
