Cameroon Boost Africa Cup Of Nations Odds With Tunisia Victory
Tuesday 05 February 2008 at 09:05  Cameroon defeated a spirited Tunisia side 3-2 in extra-time to sweep into the Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals.
With their dramatic victory Cameroon boosted their odds of winning the tournament to 9/2 with SkyBet and will now face hosts Ghana on Thursday (February 7th).
Stephane Mbia, who had missed the final game of the group stage, made his first-team return to score a double, including the winning goal in extra time.
After leading 2-0 at half-time, Cameroon captain Rigobert Song admitted that his side should have settled the encounter in normal time.
Praising the mental toughness of Cameroon, Song said: "It was a tough match. We scored two goals and then we brought them into the game but this team has strong mentality."
