Ghana Lead Africa Cup Of Nations Odds Against Cameroon
Thursday 07 February 2008 at 09:41
Ghana are favourites to beat Cameroon in tonight's (February 7th) Africa Cup of Nations semi-final clash. The Black Stars are odds-on to claim a place in the final, rated at 9/10 on with Bet Internet. Ghana will be without inspirational captain John Mensal, who was sent off in the quarter-final, but midfielder Sully Muntari revealed that they would still strive to please the nation. He said: "There's no half measure, we're doing our best to make our supporters happy. "It was a great win against Nigeria, but that's not our objective. Our aim is to win the title," Muntari added. The match will be an emotional one for coaches Otto Pfizer and Claude Le Roy, who have both had spells managing their opponents. Ghana coach Le Roy lead Cameroon to the title in 1988, but revealed that his focus would remain purely on the Black Stars. "I will put my feelings aside during the 90 minutes. I've had great times with Cameroon, but I am now the Ghana coach," he said. Meanwhile, Cameroon's Samuel Eto'o is the favourite to open the scoring tonight, priced at 13/2 with Coral.
