Chelsea FA Cup Odds Cut After Barnsley Draw
Monday 18 February 2008 at 16:59 Chelsea's odds of winning the FA Cup were slashed after they drew Barnsley in the quarter-final today (February 18th).
The Blues, who beat Huddersfield on Saturday (February 16th) to claim a place in the last eight, are now the 11/8 favourites to win the competition with BetFred.
Manchester United were briefly the bookies choice to win the FA Cup after their 4-0 demolition of Arsenal, but the prospect having to face Portsmouth in the next round has seen their odds slide to 13/10 with Coral.
In the round's other ties, Cardiff City will play either Sheffield United or Middlesbrough, while Bristol Rovers will face West Bromwich Albion.
Commenting on the draw, Bristol Rovers midfielder Chris Lines told the BBC: "All the lads will be happy with a home draw and so will the club and we're all looking forward to it."
Rovers are among the underdogs to win the tournament, rated at 100/1 with Sporting Bet.
