Woodgate Claims Next Goal Is Crucial For Tottenham Uefa Cup Odds
Thursday 21 February 2008 at 09:14  Tottenham Hotspur new boy Jonathon Woodgate claims that the next goal could be crucial for the outcome of the north London club's Uefa Cup tie with Slavia Prague.
Spurs are odds-on 1/4 favourites with Ladbrokes to win the match after scooping a couple of vital away goals in their 2-1 reverse in the Czech Republic.
But Woodgate insists that the tie is far from over, with the first goal at White Hart Lane being all-important.
The central defender said: "They're a good side, they knock the ball about well and they wouldn't have been in the Champions League if they were a bad team.
"They've played against Arsenal and Sevilla, and it won't be easy for us - it's not done and dusted by a long way."
He added: "The next goal is crucial in the tie and hopefully we can get it and go home comfortable winners."
Slavia Prague are the massive underdogs for tonight's clash, rated at 11/1 with Bet365.
