Gerrard Envies Arsenals Title Odds
Thursday 28 February 2008 at 11:13 Steven Gerrard has voiced his concerns over Liverpool's continually unsuccessful attempts to win the premiership.
Gerrard, captain of the Reds, is concerned that his side are so far behind table leaders Arsenal and considers it a frustrating case of history repeating itself.
Liverpool are currently fourth in the table and still in the Champions League.
However, the Gunners are 17 points ahead of Liverpool and are 5/4 with William Hill to lift the Premiership trophy in May
Gerarrd expressed his disappointment to LFC magazine, saying: "We believed we had the players to challenge for the title, and we wanted that one more than any other trophy available to us.
"I still believe we have the squad to be a hell of a lot more competitive than we are right now."
