Manchester United Face Bolton In Crunch Premier League Clash
Wednesday 19 March 2008 at 08:43
Manchester United face relegation threatened Bolton tonight (March 19th) hoping to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to three points.
United are currently favourites to retain the title, rated at 4/9 with Ladbrokes, while their opponents are among the bookies choices for the drop, priced at 6/5 to be relegated with BlueSquare.
And with the Premier League title in the balance, Sir Alex Ferguson has warned his side not to be complacent.
"If we perform well and take our chances we'll win the match. But we must respect our opponents," he said.
"Some of our football recently has been terrific and there is good penetration in the team at the moment."
Urging his forward line to remain composed, Sir Alex added: "It's encouraging that we're making so many chances, perhaps the forwards just need to relax a in front of goal."
Bolton are the overwhelming underdogs to net a surprise victory this evening, with BetChronicle offering odds of 20/1 for a Trotters victory.
