Rebecca Adlington may currently be the firm favourite to win the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award for 2008, but the race is far from over.
This is what has been suggested by William Hill, which implied that while the double-gold medalist swimmer has probably come out of the Beijing Olympic Games ahead of her fellow athletes, there are still several sportsman left who can challenge her for the prize.
