Leonard Savours Verizon Heritage Tournament
Tuesday 15 April 2008 at 12:05 Justin Leonard has said he is looking forward to the Verizon Heritage tournament after nerve-racking preparations for the Masters.
After his 20th place finish at Augusta, Leonard is priced at 28/1 with betchronicle for the tournament at Harbour Town Links.
He spoke to PGATour.com about the tournament, which has followed the Masters on the schedule ever since its first inception.
Leonard said: "I find that when you've been working hard preparing for the Masters and a major tournament and you're grinding for a week, then the week after seems like a bit of a breeze.
"The Masters is like final exams and then Hilton Head is Spring Break."
According to the official PGA entry list 37 players who participated in last week's Masters will be making the trip to Verizon Heritage tournament, of which 19 of them made the cut at Augusta and played the full four rounds.
Ernie Els is the early favourite for the tournament, which starts on Thursday, at 12/1 with Ladbrokes.
