Chelsea Will Not Give Up On Title
Thursday 17 April 2008 at 11:07 Chelsea travel to Goodison Park tonight knowing anything but a win will almost certainly hand the Premier League title to Manchester United.
After Monday night's draw against Wigan, the Blues find themselves five points behind United and have odds of 23/20 with CentreBet for victory in tonight's game.
They are expected to travel to Merseyside without their main two attacking threats, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba, who both missed the Wigan game.
Manager Avram Grant told BBC Sport: "I will not give up until it is over and we will keep fighting, in football anything can happen. But first we need to win, it's an important game and then we'll think about other things.
"It's very difficult to play at Goodison Park, they are a good team and it's never easy to play them."
If Chelsea fail to beat the Toffees, then a win for Manchester United over Blackburn on Saturday will leave the Red Devils needing only a point when the two teams meet next weekend.
Everton are aiming to close the gap on fourth-placed Liverpool and are priced at 14/5 with Bet365 to take three points tonight.
