Murray Takes On Djokovic In Monte Carlo
Thursday 24 April 2008 at 11:46 Andy Murray faces world number three Novak Djokovic in the third round of the Monte Carlo Masters on Thursday.
The young Scotsman has showed promising signs in his first two matches and goes into the game at 2/1 with 888sport.
Murray said: "He's had a great start to the year and he's playing very well.
"He's expected to win the match but I hope I can go out and play like I've done in the last couple of days because if I do I've got a chance of winning."
Murray has not beaten Djokovic in the previous four meetings between the pair and has enlisted the help of former world number two Alex Corretja to improve his game on the clay surface.
The Serbian won his first grand slam tournament in Australia earlier this year and proved his ability on clay with a victory in the Estoril Open last season.
Djokovic is seen as favourite for the third round tie and is 2/5 with Better to beat Murray.
