United May Be Without Key Duo For Barcelona Clash
Tuesday 29 April 2008 at 10:51 Manchester United take on Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final second-leg at Old Trafford tonight.
The two played out a goalless draw in the first leg a week ago and United are 10/11 with 888sport to win the return leg.
Boss Alex Ferguson has admitted that they may be without key duo Wayne Rooney and Nemanja Vidic for the game, after both picked up injuries in the weekend defeat to Chelsea.
Vidic was stretchered off at Stamford Bridge after getting a blow to the head from Didier Drogba and Rooney hobbled off after picking up a hip injury.
Ferguson has said: "Nemanja didn't train yesterday and he didn't train today. Neither did Wayne train so it is a difficult one.
"We think both could make it but I can't be dead certain about that."
United are looking to win their 12th straight home game in the Champions League and are seeking to go further in the competition than last season when they lost to AC Milan in the semi-finals.
The Spanish side are seen at 7/2 with CentreBet for victory in tonight's game.
