Curbishley Favourite To Be First Manager To Leave According To Premiership Odds

Next manager to leave his post betting has West Ham Manager Alan Curbishley as favourite at 6/1 with Coral. Bookmakers clearly think that the high expectation at West Ham and the lack of signings this summer will take their toll in the early months of the season.
Money Spent Will Save Megson
Gary Megson is second favourite to leave first at 8/1 with Coral but Bolton have started to reinvest the money they recouped from selling Nicolas Anelka to Chelsea and they are unlikely to part company with their manager so soon after spending so much money relative to how much they usually spend.
Hodgson Miracle Should Be Remembered
Fulham boss Roy Hodgson is 9/1 with Paddy Power and he is another that should survive until the end of the season. He performed a minor miracle to keep Fulham in the Premiership last season and with Jimmy Bullard fit this season they should perform much better.
Pressure Could Get To Keegan
Kevin Keegan is 10/1 with Coral and Phil Brown is 10/1 with SkyBet. Keegan looks a very realistic candidate and it is easy to understand why he is just 5/1 with Paddy Power. Newcastle have very high expectations and plenty of new signings will be required to meet those expectations. A poor start could easily see an early exit for Keegan.
Brown on the other hand did brilliantly to get Hull into the Premiership and a sacking seems highly unlikely but there is always a chance he could walk out for some reason.
Boardroom Squabbles Could End Benitez Anfield Reign
A candidate at a bigger price worth considering is Rafa Benitez at 20/1 with SkyBet. He has not been given the summer transfer kitty most managers have and with boardroom fighting at the club as well something could well trigger Benitez leaving Liverpool.
