Nedved Says No To Euro 2008

Veteran midfielder Pavel Nedved has refused to come out of international retirement to play for the Czech Republic at the Euro 2008 finals.
Coach Karel Bruckner hoped to persuade the Juventus star to play in Austria and Switzerland this summer after Arsenal's Tomas Rosicky was ruled out of the tournament with a knee injury.

Speculation is rife that Steve McClaren could be sacked as England manger following the 2-1 defeat at the hands of Russia, despite being assured that his job is safe.
