Torsten Frings may make an appearance when Germany take on Turkey in the semi-finals of Euro 2008 tomorrow.

The midfielder was expected to be out for the tournament after suffering a fractured rib last week, but coach Joachim Low believes his man has recovered enough that he might be able to play at least part of the crucial game on Wednesday.

Paul Henesy, general manager at The Curragh, says the going is likely to be good for the Irish Derby this weekend.
