Three of the last four winners of the Players Championship have been high up in the Greens in Regulation Stats so that seems like a good place to focus our attention for this year’s winner.
The two names that stand out from this years GIR standings are Geoff Ogilvy and KJ Choi
Ogilvy has been in great recent form with a win at the CA Championship and runner-up at the Houston Open and the former US Open winner looks attractively priced at 30/1.
Also in decent form is KJ Choi. Twice a winner in 2007 and already successful in 2008 in Hawaii, Choi is becoming one of the major forces in world golf and has some decent finishes at Sawgrass to his name as well. 40/1 looks way over the odds considering Tiger is not in the field.
