| Tipster Competition |
What is it?
A free fantasy betting game where you make bets with play money to try to make as much profit as you can.
Why is it interesting?
You can bet on pretty much everything a bookmaker has but without the risk so its a great place to experiment and learn about new types of bet or betting on new sports.
There are lots of cash prizes given away every month to the people who do best in the various league tables
You can set up your own mini league to have a private battle with your friends as well as competing as a team against other teams for prizes
Where is it?
Once you have logged in click on the TIPSTER COMP box then click on My Tips on the dropdown. In the top left you will see links to all the sports you can make tips on, and on the right are your performance statistics.

Why is it interesting?
The forum is heavily moderated making it an extremely polite and friendly place to chat
There are lots of very experienced gamblers who make some excellent posts both on specific events and on betting in general
Where is it?
Click on the BETTING FORUM box. To make posts or see the most recent posts, you need to log in separately from the tipster competition (the login details are the same). |

| Free Tips |
What is it?
There are three main ways to find great tips on OLBG. The main ways are
- Use the tables to find the most successful tipsters & then check their profiles to see what current tips they have
- See a summary of the number of people tipping each selection for a specific event
- See a quick summary of the very popular selections (Hot Tips) where a large proportion of the tipsters are all going for the same team/player/horse.
Why is it interesting?
There are lots of very successful punters who use OLBG. You can use the tables and tip histories and tips pages to identify those you wish to follow and then see what tips they have for today.
Where is it?
The tips by event can be found by clicking on the FREE TIPS box Initially you are presented with the most popular selections (Hot Tips). From there you can select to see tips for a particular sport by clicking on the blue bar. Once on a page for a particular sport or category you can click on the individual events listed on the left to show the markets and tips made for each selection, along with the latest odds for that market on the right of the screen
For the tipster tables click on the TIPSTER COMPbox and then on Tables. Use the left menu that appears to show the top performing tipsters in each category. |

What is it?
A free alert service so you can be immediately emailed when a tipster you follow makes a tip.
Why is it interesting?
So you can be sure not to miss a particular tipsters' tips.
Where is it?
Once you are logged in click on the TIPSTER COMP tab and then on Alerts. There are several different types of alerts there, the tipster alerts is in the top right. |

What is it?
A quick summary of the latest free bets from the main online bookmakers.
Why is it interesting?
Free money is always interesting and as a punter we need all the help we can get. In several cases OLBG has negotiated some better free bet offers than are generally available to users of other sites.

What is it?
A collection of tools that highlight where odds for a selection may be significantly overpriced.
Why is it interesting?
The following three tools in particular can give some very interesting results
Value Bets - highlights where the odds on offer for a football team or tennis player seem significant higher than you would think they should be based on the historical results data would indicate.
Steamers - shows you when there has been significant market support for a selection - does someone know something?
Sleepers - shows you when one bookmaker has "gone to sleep" as his odds are much higher than everyone else's.

Why is it interesting?

What is it?
An odds comparison site with a twist.
Why is it interesting?

What is it?

Why is it interesting?
You can customise the pages to show just the matches you want
You can add your own bets to the page to see in real time how they are doing on a colour coded display.
