How does the World Grand Prix of Darts work ?
The BoyleSports sponsored World Grand Prix Darts tournament is the PDC Tour's third oldest event and is unique in that it is the only televised event on the PDC Tour where players have to start and finish on a double (or bullseye). So scoring cannot commence until a double is hit, hence the tournament format is also known as "Double in, Double out".
- First Round: Best of 3 Sets (First to 5 legs)
- Second Round: Best of 5 Sets
- Quarter Finals: Best of 5 Sets
- Semi Finals: Best of 7 Sets
- Final: Best of 9 Sets
