Croatia are 1/3 to win Semi-Final 1 of the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest as bookies now offer odds

The 2024 Eurovision Song Contest is getting closer and closer with just three weeks until Semi-Final 1 kicks off the week and UK Betting Sites are offering odds on who will win.

15 countries will go against each other in Semi-Final 1 for the 10 spots that will get them into the Eurovision Song Contest final and it's Croatia who are the 1/3 favourites.

Croatia were previously favourites to win the whole Song Contest but have since drifted from 5/2 to 10/3 second favourites in the overall winner market.

William Hill though has Croatia as heavy favourites to win Semi-Final 1 with this stage of the Contest having a 100% public vote compared to the main show's 50/50 public and Jury split.

Baby Lasagna will perform at Eurovision this year for Croatia with the song  'Rim Tim Tagi Dim' which won the 2024 'Dora' in Croatia which chooses their representative.

Semi-Final 2 of the Eurovision Song Contest has a bit more of a tighter look at the top of the market with the Netherlands and Switzerland both close.

These two countries have both also been popular in the winner market with Switzerland the favourites to win the Song Contest after shortening in recent weeks.

The Netherlands are odds-on to win Eurovision Semi-Final 2 with their entry proving to be one of the most popular there is this year according to the total views.

Joost Klein's Europapa currently has 19m views on the Eurovision Song Contest YouTube page which puts it far clear in terms of most viewed from this year's acts.

Switzerland are the favourites to win the whole thing despite not being favourites for their Semi-Final

Odds are also given for the Eurovision Song Contest Final and Switzerland remain the favourites to win the event despite not being favourites for their Semi-Final.

Again the reasoning for this is because the Final is done with a 50/50 split between the public and jury votes rather than a full 100% public vote in the Semi's.

It's expected that Switzerland will go down well with the jury at Eurovision and bookies have kept them at the top of the market at 15/8.
