A student of racing form a subject which has fascinated me since I sat on my late grandfathers knee as he poured over the Sporting Life. My brothers are all football mad and so I grew up knowing my Arsenal from my elbow so to speak and I tend to search for value among the plethora of bets offered by modern bookmakers. The three relegated clubs have strong squads and parachute funds but appear to be set on taking chances with regards to coaching personel whilst some of the other fancied clubs, notably Norwich and West Brom have solid foundations but increasing financial pressures to contend with so a chance is take on Swansea who finished last season in excellent form and have a balanced squad which contains a lot of experience and a settled backroom team all supported by a set of contented fans and not many of 24 clubs can say that.
