BILL SILVERS is another drawn high and has a similar profile to my other selection. Quite well fancied ahead his debut at Doncaster early season as a 3-y-o, he ran well before taking a similar race at the same track a month later. Both of those were over 7f and he was stepped up to 10f for his final two efforts, a listed race at Goodwood where he ran to form before improving further to place back at Doncaster. Yet to race on anything other than soft or heavy so that is a question but the stable comments are indicative of a good run and dropping back to a mile in a race like this is no bad thing. Has been gelded.

TERWADA is well tipped-up yet appears quite weak in the market, trading at 25/1 on the exchange as I write. Nonetheless, 4-y-o's have an excellent record in this and Ed Walker's charge looks just the type to be focused on. Unraced as a juvenile, he made great strides last year, winning a novice by 9-lengths and finding notable improvement a month later to win a handicap; followed by a fair run in a valuable York handicap. May have been over the top in the Cambridgeshire and has been gelded ahead of this season. All his form is on fast ground but the drying day may see good groundprevail by post time. The handicapper has been fair and the yard are in good form. Whether stall 21 will be influential one way or another, I don't know.
