This tough for me as a Jonbon fan but with questions about the yards form and being upped in distance I cant go against Pic D'Orhy. This selection has form on at this course & distance (2m 4f). There are no ground concerns and with pending champion jockey Harry Cobden on board I think this horse will be tough to beat unless this trip brings out the best Jonbon. As for the rest of the horses in this race apart from 2 heavy outsiders they all ran at Cheltenham which in the past hasnt been the best option when backing at the Aintree festival

This race for me was between two horses and they were Mystical Power and Dysart Enos. Now that the latter is now a non runner that strengthens my view on Mystical Power. This horse has been very impressive in 4 starts winning 3 times and its only defeat was when it placed 2nd in the supreme. Mystical Power has form over the next 2 horses in the betting and I expect it to confirm them placings today.

The favourite in this race loks good but the odds are not great, so I have decieded totake punt with an each way selection. This horse showed good promise on debut finishing 5th finishing 5 1/2 lengths behind the winner. Despite finishing 5th the horse was slowly away from the stalls and with improvement likely and hopefully a better start, this horse should finish in the placings and if the favourite fails to fire on its reapearance maybe sneak the win.

I tipoed this horse a few days ago but was later a non runner. Stroxx runs off a mark of 50 which is an increase of 4 from LTO where it won. It took 49 attempts to win but I could see another one just round the corner. The form over the winter reads well a win and 2 placings in 5 runs. Stroxx is recieving weight in this race running off with a weight of 8st 13lb with only 2 rivals running off a lower weight. I hope my instinct is write by continuing to back this horse. Definite e/w player.

Road to Wembley won nicely when stepping up in trip by almost a mile LTO, does have a penalty today but will still recieve weight from the fav who is also under a penalty. This horse does drop back down 2f but shouldnt really holster any further progresss here.

Ninety Nine has been disappointing on both all weather starts but as a 2 year old there was some decent performances. What caught my eye to this selection was form over this distance on heavy ground finishing 1 length behind the eventual winner. On the same ground as today this horse finished 6th of 9th which doesnt look great on paper but if you look into it, Ninety Nine didnt have the best of starts abd was close up until the final furlong. 5

Won last time out after 49 attempts, weighted 9st 4lb which is 5lb lower when winning over 5f last time out. This is no banker but this horse placed a few times last year and with that win under the belt it could spur him on to better things this turf season.

Trojan Truth won last tine out after a break and despite having a 3lb rise, there is nothing special in this race and should manage to win despite the increase in weight. There is only one other horse in this race I could see beating the selection and that is Calcutta Dream.
