Not everybody's cup of tea but when at the top of his game he's got all the qualities required to bag another Major. Finally & thankfully given up on trying to become some kind of body building golfer & his game has improved since. Finished 6th in the Master's after leading early on & he's finished in the top 10 4x so far this year on the LIV Tour. If he drives the ball well then he's going to put himself in position to give himself plenty of birdie chances & in 3 of his last 4 starts he's ranked in the top 5 for driving distance. I'd expect him to put in a good showing this week.

Quite surprised to still see this much improved golfer available at 28/1 (in from 40s) currently. This course could well suit those long off the tee & Niemann doesn't lack in that dept. Fancied him for the Masters & in the end he managed a respectable but uninspiring top 25 finish. Recently has finishes of 3rd & 7th on the LIV Tour & he's played well at another Jack Nicklaus designed course at the Memorial in the past. Can see him contending this week in his search for a 1st Major success.

Hard to believe that in just a couple of months the Spaniard is twice the price of Rory & 3x the price of Scottie. Granted he's not set the world alight since moving over to LIV & his Master's defence didn't go the way he'd of expected but he's still one hell of a golfer on his day & there's much less focus on him coming into this than there was at Augusta. Has plenty of form on these type of greens & would of had 2 Memorial wins to his name at another J Nicklaus course if COVID hadn't intervened when 6 clear 3 years ago. This time last year he would of been half the price than he is this time around & he's proved time & time again that he's as good as those ahead of him in the market.

Finished 8th last week which whilst not good enough over the 4 days to contend did show his game is in a decent place presently. Finished tied 3rd in the Master's having led going into the wknd & he's now become a very consistent golfer capable of doing well in major's having taken his time to believe he's got the ability to mix it with the best. 6x winner on the PGA Tour who hopefully can go 2 places better than the Master's

Just 2 career wins but one of those came over this CD though that was 2 years ago now. Races off her last winning mark today & made a decent fist of it on her reappearance last month finishing runner-up at Catterick. Needs to build on that as she has work to do to turn around form from last season against Glorious Angel though she is 5lb better off today.

3lb better off for just over a length beating by Charyn who had the benefit of a previous run. Work to do on official ratings against the top 2 in the market but no guarantee they'll be cherry ripe on their seasonal debut. Each way chance & won't mind any rain that falls.

Handicap debut for this one who's all 3 career runs have come here. Won the 2nd of those then rounded off his campaign narrowly beaten by Brackens Laugh who has this season boosted the form in group company. This looks a decent mark & if he's ready to go on seasonal debut then he could take some beating.

Appears to go on any ground & she turned in some impressive performances last season. Attempted 7f on her reappearance here in the Fred Darling & it gave the impression that she doesn't quite get that trip. The return to this trip should prove ideal & she's entitled to of come on for that run. Always a risk they just haven't trained on from 2 - 3 but she's worth giving another chance to.

More on his plate today in group 2 company than he's had in his last 2 wins. First of those came in a handicap off 101 when winning over CD. Returned at Doncaster in March for a eyecatching success when travelling extremely well but having to wait for gaps to appear before winning cosily in the end in listed company. Will appreciate any rain that falls & he could well prove up to this task.

Handicap debutante who steps up in trip today following 3 runs in novice company. Won a bumper on debut & her hurdling efforts have improved on each run with a 3rd place finish at Doncaster lto behind the 131 rated Personal Ambition. Runs here off an opening mark of 105 which could look lenient if she can reproduce or improve in the Doncaster effort.

Definitely the class horse of this contest & if anywhere near her best she should be winning this. Fred Darling winner last season & finished runner-up in back to back group 1's behind Tahiyra at Royal Ascot & Nashwa at Newmarket. In the context of this race that's by a country mile better than what any of her opponents have shown this far. Faces younger rivals but at this stage of a season older horses tend to come out on top.

Caused a bit of a surprise lto at Newbury when trouncing the opposition in a valuable mares handicap. Will find this tougher being 8lb higher against the boys & dropping in trip is probably not ideal. However she travelled strongly throughout at Newbury looking the winner a fair way out & the likely strong pace in this should suit. Worth an each way bet at a big price.

Made his 3yo debut in the Epsom Derby Trial & connections now run him in this one which means he's getting plenty of experience of what a Derby track wise would bring. Ran on strongly at Epsom so this trip should suit more & if he's got Derby aspirations then he needs to be going close in this.

Needs to the form from last season which saw him a narrowly beaten runner-up in this contest off a 3lb higher mark. Failed to replicate that effort in future runs & was poor over hurdles recently. Now back with his trainer from last season & hopefully he's got him back to his best. Won't mind this ground & he's certainly handicapped to go well if rediscovering his best flat form.

Former handicapper who managed to bag a group 2 last season on the July course at Newmarket. Spent the winter globetrotting with his best effort coming in Bahrain when finishing runner-up to Spirit Dancer in a valuable group 2. Had yesterday's winner Point Lonsdale behind him that day & he returned to these shores to finish 3rd at Sandown last month when collared close home. Highest rated of these & should have a big shout on these terms.

Good form as a 3yo winning a group 2 at York & finishing 4th in the Melbourne Cup. Didn't reach them heights in a lightly raced 4yo campaign but if his trainer has him back to his best he's definitely got his favoured ground today.

Likable type who could well be better over this trip. Scored on debut at 2 at Newmarket turning over a short priced fav then on his next & final start of last season contested a group 1 at Longchamp on Arc day finishing a respectable 7th of 10 behind Rosallion. Returned at Newmarket last month with an all the way win scoring with a fair bit in hand in listed company. Certainly has the form to play a major role in this if handling this track.

This course winner has become well handicapped these days following some disappointing efforts so far this year. Now 6lb lower than when winning here over 1m 1f last May & she did show a bit more form lto when 5th of 13 at MUSSELBURGH last month. If building on that effort then she's too well handicapped to be ignored dropped into a class 5.

Optimistic each way selection. Couldn't of been much more impressive on her debut when winning a maiden at Newbury last month. Both of her trainers runner's in the 2000 guineas ran well yesterday & she's either most likely to blowout stepped into group 1 company or find plenty of improvement. Comes into this with decent group 1 efforts last season in a couple of classics. 3rd in the Oaks & 4th in the 1000 guineas it was probably a little disappointing she didn't win as a 3yo. If she can reproduce her early form from last season in this group 2 then she's got to be given decent claims in what doesn't look the strongest renewal of this.

Would of been more confident of a big run if the ground had stayed as it was on Tuesday as he's better on a sounder surface. Finished 6th in last season's Scottish National so has bags of stamina. Lightly raced this season with just the 2 runs finishing runner-up on both occasions. Certainly has the form to play a part in this if the ground isn't too much of an inconvenience.

Only 3 career wins so not one to rely on too heavily but capable on his day of very high class form. Unlucky at Royal Ascot last season being hampered more than once when finishing 4th in the group 1 King Stands Stakes. Poor effort in the Nunthorpe next time out but that quick track wouldn't suit. Has won 1st time out twice in his career & with R Moore booked I can see him going well if ready to go on his reappearance.

Hasn't been seen since Royal Ascot last June & has been gelded in the meantime. Looked an improved last year winning on Derby Day at Epsom off 95 then finished 4th in a group 3 at Royal Ascot. No surprise if he needs this but if he's raring to go he's the one in the field who could prove better than a 105 rated handicapper.
