2 from 2 as a juvenile & she looked to still have a bit to learn on reappearance when finishing runner-up to Pretty Crystal in the Nell Gwyn. Should appreciate the step up in trip & after her stablemates performance in the 2000 guineas yesterday it would be folly to underestimate her chance today.

Plenty of fillies coming into this open to any sort of improvement including this one who routed the opposition over CD last month winning a handicap by 10 lengths. Clearly handicapping wasn't to be the future after that performance & she now gets the chance in listed company. If she's in the same kind of form it's going to take a decent one to beat her.

Drops in class today from a class 2 to a class 4 handicap after finishing a narrowly beaten 3rd of 8 at Newbury last month off a 2lb lower mark. That followed a reappearance 3rd in a class 3 at Bath ridden by an apprentice on both occasions. R Moore takes the ride today & he should go well.

Last season's champion 2yo who looked better & better on each occasion. Won on debut over 7f at the Curragh in a good time & followed up in the July Stakes here on the July course slamming Haatem in the process. Rounded off his 2yo campaign with a very impressive performance in the Dewhurst with 3 of today's opponents behind. Will have no issues with this trip & no reason to expect him not training on. Only concern could be his trainers runners have seemed to of needed a run but I'm pretty certain A O'Brien will have got him ready for today. Could be the next big superstar in Europe & he's got the best form coming into this.

Won here over 1m back in April last year & followed up over the July course in August off a 2lb lower mark than today. Finished 3rd in last year's Cambridgeshire over CD off a 2lb higher mark form of which gives him decent claims today. Hasn't shown too much so far this season & needs to step up on that. If he can then his price looks too big.

Stable having a decent meeting & this 4yo could well boost that record today. Runner-up to Mighty Bandit, who seems to of regressed, on debut he then gained further experience in maiden hurdles prior to winning the Boodles at the Cheltenham Festival off a mark of 122. Now rated 130 & this event looks within his compass if running to that form again.

Rated 4lb lower than the W Mullins fav but gets 3lb here & I think she'll appreciate this ground. Comes here after skipping the Cheltenham Festival where Allegorie De Vassy finished 4th in the Mares Chase. A winner of all 3 starts this season with the latest coming easily at Huntingdon. Be disappointed if she doesn't go close in this.

Has the rating to be involved in the finish of this with 2 runs behind him this season though he tries this trip for the 1st time. Looked when winning last season's Cambridgeshire as though this extra furlong would suit & lto he ran on well over 1m 1f behind Ottoman Fleet. Wouldn't want the ground to soften considerably.

Runner-up on debut she has since gone on to reel off a hat-trick of wins in lesser company the last of which came in a class 4 handicap at Lingfield when a very easy winner off a mark of 78. Now rated 90 so this step into listed company seems the obvious step. This will be much tougher but she holds a fitness advantage over her main rivals & that could be crucial.

Needs to show she's as effective on this quicker ground as she is on heavy. Won on hurdling debut at Fairyhouse in Jan she was then upped markedly in class to contest a grade 1 mares event at the same track at the end of March finishing runner-up to a stablemate. Both those events over half a mile further so slightly surprising to see her dropped back to 2m. Has the best form in the book coming into this.

Finally managed to get away from W Mullins though James Du Berlais holds strong claims in this but at the price he does appear a bit too short in such a competitive event. Rather back this 7yo who last won off a mark 5lb lower than today. Finished 5th in the big handicap on the opening day of Cheltenham then ran well for a long way in the Grand National lto until weakening as they turned in. Hopefully he's fully recovered from those exertions & if he has I can see him running well in this.

Only 3rd to Stellar Story in the Albert Bartlett at the Cheltenham Festival but appeared to appreciate the better ground & easier track at Aintree lto when reversing form with the Jukebox Man who'd finished runner-up in the Albert Bartlett. Stellar Story might need a stiffer test of stamina though he's not underestimated despite causing a bit of a surprise at Cheltenham.

Won't want the ground drying out too much as most of his best form has come under soft conditions. Mad a pleasing reappearance last month when finishing 5th of 18 behind two of today's opponents at Doncaster. Lto again finished runner-up over 2m 5f at Kempton & there's plenty more to come on just his 4th start although lack of experience in this kind of race is a negative. Back each way.

Pulled up at Newbury on soft in Jan he returned to the same track lto last month to finish runner-up beaten just a nose in a 3 way photo. The winner of that contest Zain Nights followed up last week so off a 4lb higher mark he should go close in this for the Skelton's.

Should find this company more suitable than her most recent starts. Finished runner-up to Grey Dawning at Warwick, 3rd at Ascot & lto she ran in the NH Chase at the festival where she showed up well for a long way before not staying the trip. Faces her own sex today & id expect a much better showing.
