He won on his Chase debut beating a subsequent winner and his 2nd novice Chase was very competitive as he finished 4th of 5, finishing behind Grade 1 winner Quillixios, Grade 3 winner Sa Fureur and Grade 3 winner Mister Policeman. He was disappointing on his handicap debut however the 2m4f trip and heavy ground did not suit, and returned to 2m over the same course and distance as his chase win, and getting better ground should see an improved performance and is now 2lbs lower than his run last time out

He beat subsequent dual Grade 1 winner Spillane's Tower by 6.5 lengths on his penultimate start, and although he finished behind that rival in his last start, he was only 3.25 lengths behind that winner. He now drops down from Grade 1 to Listed company but his class should shine through today in comparison to the rest of the field

He has been unlucky in some of the horses he has come up against such as Grade 1 runner up Jimmy Du Seuil in January, Listed 4th and subsequent winner Chosen Witness in March, and Punchestown Festival winner Daddy Long Legs in November. He actually filled the runner up spot behind the first two mentioned, but he did win on his penultimate start, beating next time out winner Arian Soldier by 14 lengths. He was a 3.5 length 4th last time out but the winner has won again next time out so the form is franked and another good performance can be expected

He ran in a very competitive hurdles race on debut when 4th of 6 finishing behind Wodhooh who is unbeaten in 5 starts over hurdles including 2 Listed races, next time out Grade 3 winner Nurgburgring and subsequent winner Spinning Web being the 3 who finished in front of the selection that day. He then won his next start which came last time out at Cork and that form has been well franked with the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7th and 8th all winning since and should run well off what looks a lenient opening handicap mark providing the absence does not majorly impact him

He does return following a 5 month break, but whenever he has had a break of 4+ months his record reads 1st, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 2nd so he relishes a significant break. He won on his penultimate start at this track over 2m5f and although falling in the Paddy Power early on last time out, he can improve for these 5 months off and should run well with the conditions fine for him

He is closely related to French winner Sermandakfi and he is a half brother to Sermando who was a flat winner over a very similar distance and so a good run can be expected today

He stays on the all weather today and now has race fitness on his side, he has not won a flat race over this distance but has previously won a Grade 2 over hurdles over 2m so he definitely has the stamina to see out this trip. He is a half brother to all weather winner Sibylline and he is related to 2m winner Bowdler's Magic, so both the trip and surface can suit and should run well despite this being another competitive Class 2

Her only good run came over 7f at Chelmsford when 4th of 10, however her two runs since she has only beaten one horse home in total. The run last time out was her seasonal reappearance so that can be forgiven but she still needs to massively improve from her other runs however the switch to the turf could be the making of her. Her dam had form on soft ground and she is a half sister to Sayed who was a heavy ground winner over 1m so this forecast rain will suit especially if the ground turns testing

His dam Sabaidee was a 2m1f winner and she was a half sister to a 2m Listed winner Romantic Affair and 1m4f Listed winner Little Italy, a lot of stamina in his pedigree to suggest he will run well at this trip today

He won on very soft ground over 1m4f in France in 2021, and finally broke his UK duck when winning on the all weather on his penultimate start. That was over 2m and he drops back by 1.5 furlongs but this will still suit as he is related to 1m3f-1m7f winner Light In The Dark and a very good run can be expected

He has ran respectably in all of his completed starts with his main disappointment being when pulling up in the Irish National despite being favourite. His 4th last time out at Cheltenham was still promising as his saddle slipped although reappearing following 6 months off, he won after a 6 month break in 2021. He is also related to top class Back In Focus who won between 2m6f-4m so these thorough stamina tests suit him

He has ran well in 3 of his 4 hurdle starts, with his best 2 being his last 2 performances. The first of those was a win at Wincanton by 6 lengths to Dartmoor Pirate who finished 4th in a Grade 3 afterwards. That form has been well franked with the 3rd, 5th, 6th and 9th placed horses all winning subsequently. The selection then finished a very close 2nd last time out at Newbury and that form has been franked with the winner following up in a Class 2 at Cheltenham, and the 3rd place horse has also won subsequently so the selection should run well despite the competitive field

He did pull up in his last hurdles outing but that came in a Class 2 and was over 2m4f, and now returns to the hurdles discipline in a Class 4 and 13lbs lower than that Class 2 run, so could improve off a low mark

He has been running respectably in much higher classes than this, and he was on a high mark considering he completed a 4 timer with 3 of those wins over 2m, he followed that up with a 4th in the Northumberland Vase, and now finds himself 3lbs than that run, as well as being just 2lbs higher than his last win. He has proven form over this distance and the fact his dam Estimate was a Gold Cup winner shows how much class is in his pedigree especially over extreme flat trips

He does have one win to his name which came on his only good ground start, and all of his future flat starts have been with soft/heavy going in the description or on the all weather so he is 0-13 on ground that is not good, whereas he is currently 1-1 on fast ground. That win came over 6.5f and today's trip is of 1m but he has shown twice this year at Wolverhampton when staying on over 7f when finishing 2nd that the mile trip is within range. His dam Gherdaiya had good form on good ground winning 2 races and placing in Group 3 company so the selection should go well if the return to fast ground has the same impact as it did last time

His chase form has not lived up to his hurdles form yet, but the ground could have been a big factor for that as he has exclusively raced on soft ground, whereas his best hurdles form has tended to be on good ground which he gets today. He finished 2nd over course and distance over hurdles on good ground in 2022, and his current chase mark is 3lbs lower than that hurdles run, could run a big race with these conditions

That was the 4th of 6 consecutive top 3 finishes with 2 wins included in that time. His all weather runs have been below average but he is still a maiden after 9 runs on that surface and returned to turf can see a better run. He is also related to Hi Humpfree who won between 2m6f-3m2f so his pedigree suggests this marathon flat trip will also suit

That day he finished 2nd to subsequent Listed winner Kerdos, his starts since have been mostly poor either pitched too far on too soft a surface. This has seen his mark drop significantly and he now races off a 16lbs lower mark than the same time last year, could have a chance if the combination of 6f and good ground has the same effect as it did in 2022.

He is a half brother to The Kemble Brewery who was unbeaten in his two bumper starts on better ground than the selection encountered last time out. He should run well for a yard that has a 20% strike rate in bumpers in the last 5 years and 34% place rate in this discipline

He has been below par in his last two runs but excuses can be made for both, the first of which is his terrible all weather form, he doesn't run well on the surface as shown by being a maiden after 13 attempts, and then last time out the trip of 6f on heavy ground was too far and he had been returning from 5 months off. He has that run under his belt now and should strip fitter, and he did win 4 times last year including over course and distance off this mark and can again run well returned here

He finished 2nd in this race last year off a 6lbs lower mark, but he enjoys these big field handicaps shown by his win at The Curragh in a 27 runner handicap last year and a very good 2nd on his seasonal reappearance this year in the Lincoln at Doncaster. He has won twice before on good to soft ground so can cope with conditions and should run well again

He won a point to point over 3m on soft ground and has thrived over fences winning 3 of his 4 starts, only losing out last time slightly by making a mistake very late on. The good ground won't have suited that day and now returns to softer conditions and should run well despite being raised 1lb for his 3rd place LTO
