Plenty was expected of IN THIS WORLD after beating FIL DOR on the flat as a 3yo. FIL DOR went on to have a great juvenile campaign whereas progress for this one has been slower. However, a solid display behind GO DANTE when last seen at Cheltenham was a good effort and back on better ground here today he can begin to deliver on his early promise.

This doesn't look as if it will take an awful lot of winning and I want to concentrate on the front of the market with some disappointing types in behind who don't win very often. I am against the Jonjo horse on account of jumping errors and poor stable form. STUMPTOWN has to give plenty of weight to SOME SCOPE on the back of a disappointing display in the Ultima so SOME SCOPE is the selection back on better ground after a gutsy display behind DOES HE KNOW last time.

TORN AND FRAYED is too big a price not to have an each way play back over course and distance with ground to suit. A repeat if his performance when winning here in January 2022 might be good enough despite running from 5lbs out of the handicap. His run in the Plate at the festival last time on ground that would have been slow enough for him was not a bad prep.

We saw enough evidence on Thursday that Nicky Henderson's horses are well enough if good enough and SHANAGH BOB is the tentative selection here as the only unbeaten horse in the field. He arrives here fresh having missed Cheltenham on the back of a Grade 2 success where he showed an excellent attitude to put the race to bed and can be competitve in what looks an open race.
