This will be her first try on turf but there is nothing in her pedigree to think that won't suit and Ascot is often a good track for those with smart form on the AW these days. Unexposed type for his age, he signed off for 2023 with a C&D win off the back of a 76-day break. His best effort as a 2yo was first up and of his three runs last year prior to that win, it was the first of them that was the pick, coming after 276 days off. Fresh is clearly a good time to catch him, this is the AW track where his trainer has the most success, and he is the sole runner on the card for his Devon stable.

Beaten favourite in a pair of Meydan starts this year but won on his debut on Tapeta last October. He beat one with prior experience that day, giving that rival 7lb and a beating. That one has placed off 88 so his mark of 85 makes him of huge interest if the return to Tapeta and the fitting of cheekpeices have a positive effect.

Held his own at a better level in the second half of 2023 from higher handicap marks than this. Went fine first time up last season and his yard have them ticking over nicely at present. Handles conditions fine and should appreciate this lower level of opposition.

This could be an excellent piece of placing, able to get her into another 0-70. She has experience of this track on her sole turf start and has taken a step forward with every race since. Should still have more to come.
